David’s Attempt To Hide His Sin
2 Samuel 11:5-27 – Following his sin with Bathsheba, David attempted to cover up his transgression. Thus, one sin led to many others – including the murder of Bathsheba’s husband, Uriah the Hittite. There is a powerful lesson to be learned. “He that covereth his sins shall not prosper: but who confesseth and forsaketh them shall have mercy” (Proverbs 28:13).
