The Book of Leviticus is, in many ways, simply a book of laws. This can make it difficult to read and challenging to teach. However, this does not mean that it should be skipped! It must be read, studied, and taught! God revealed it by inspiration and recorded it for the benefit of His children. Each law has its place and purpose. The book reveals the need for holiness, the seriousness of spiritual purity, and the pristine character and nature of God. It demonstrates God’s grace in providing a way for sinful man to enjoy divine fellowship and allowing sinners to come into His presence. The faithful must study and understand the book of Leviticus.
Yet, it remains a challenge. In teaching this book in a Bible class setting, one of the best ways to explore it was by question and answer. The following questions were used to guide the class through a discussion of this book and to draw out pertinent lessons from it.
